Prospect Financial Solutions began in 2008 when Joel Hendriks took over Baker’s Tax Service and re-launched it as Prospect in 2009. John Hopkins joined as partner in 2014, and together they’ve built Prospect into one of the Inland Empire’s leading tax and accounting firms.
In the mid-2010s, Prospect made a defining shift — moving from a traditional “one-person-does-it-all” model to a team-based firm with dedicated departments for Tax, Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Administration. Each area now operates under its own leader, allowing for deeper expertise, faster turnaround times, and a consistent client experience.

Joel has been helping individuals and business owners with their taxes for over 20 years. He began his career in 2002 as a tax preparer while attending UC Riverside, became an Enrolled Agent in 2005, and graduated that same year with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After spending several years at a CPA firm working in audit and tax, Joel took over Baker’s Tax Service in 2008 when Janice Baker retired. Since then, he’s enjoyed partnering with clients to stay compliant, plan ahead, and keep their tax bills in check.
Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters, Cobie and Sophie. He also enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and tennis when there's extra time.

I joined Prospect Financial Solutions in 2022 and serve as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to both partners. I’m committed to supporting our clients with great customer service and helping our team deliver high-quality work on time. I take pride in keeping operations smooth and organized every day. When I’m not at work, I’m with my loved ones or on the sidelines cheering for my kids at their games.

I'm the Tax Team Manager here at Prospect Financial Solutions. I support our clients throughout the tax return process and work closely with our team to ensure everything runs smoothly and accurately. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a bachelor’s degree in business and was honored to make the dean’s list. Outside of work, I’m a big sports fan—you’ll often find me cheering on the Dodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

I’m the Director of Accounting at Prospect Financial. I lead the bookkeeping team and work hands-on with clients who need high-level support. I focus on clean, reliable financials and simple, repeatable processes that keep the organization running smoothly.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my grandkids and I’m usually in the middle of a remodeling project. When I’m not doing that, I’m out biking or exploring new places in my RV.

I provide monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services for a wide range of small business clients. I focus on maintaining accurate, well-organized financial records that my clients and the tax team can rely on. I’m known for my steady approach and attention to detail.
I’ve been with Prospect for four years, and I value the firm’s collaborative environment and its commitment to ethical, client-focused service.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends—especially celebrating the recent arrival of my first grandchild.

Since May 2021, I have had the privilege of working remotely as a bookkeeper for Prospect Financial Solutions, representing the company from the Midwest. Despite being hundreds of miles away from my colleagues, I truly enjoy the work I do, thriving on new challenges, and learning new tools to help in my work. I value the relationships I have built with both my team and clients.
Family is at the center of my life, and I especially cherish time spent with my grandchildren. I enjoy staying active by running and biking. Being involved in both my school and church communities provides meaningful opportunities for me to contribute and connect with others.

I’m a Bookkeeper at Prospect Financial, where I work alongside an amazing team to support our clients with their banking, payroll, and overall financial management. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, so I love being able to use that passion to help clients stay organized, confident, and informed about their finances. I live in West Michigan with my husband, Tommy, and our three children. We love spending time together as a family—whether we’re up north at our cabin or simply enjoying the outdoors.

I’m a trusted bookkeeper at Prospect Financial Solutions, known for my meticulous attention to detail and my expertise in reviews and complex clean-ups. I excel at identifying discrepancies, resolving challenging issues, and ensuring clients receive accurate, reliable financial records.
Outside of work, I’m a dedicated mom and an active volunteer in my children’s school community. I enjoy coordinating fundraisers and events, bringing organization and a detail-oriented approach to every project.

I’m a senior accountant focused on keeping our clients’ books accurate, compliant, and ready for tax season. I manage reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting with an eye for detail and efficiency. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me hiking, at the gym, or exploring somewhere off the beaten path with my husband.

Natalie Allison joined Prospect Financial in 2023 and stepped into the role of Payroll Director for Payroll Vault in May 2024. She loves the relationships she builds with clients and has genuine care for her work. In 2023, Natalie checked off a lifelong dream by earning her MBA from California Baptist University, and she plans to pursue her PhD once her daughter finishes high school. She lives by a simple truth: life is about Jesus, family, and every bit of quality time with her daughter. You’ll often find the two of them movie-hopping, shopping, exploring new places, or hunting down the next fresh latte at their favorite local coffee shops.

I joined Payroll Vault in April 2025, bringing my professionalism—along with a touch of humor and a people-first approach—to the team. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and I’m currently pursuing my MBA.
I’m known for my positive energy, clear communication, and ability to put people at ease—especially in high-pressure moments. I try to approach every challenge with a solutions-focused mindset. As I often say, channeling the Golden Girls, “If we’re going to tackle something tricky, we might as well do it with a smile… and maybe a piece of cheesecake.”
Outside of work, I appreciate sunshine, great food, and the easygoing charm of SoCal living.

I joined Payroll Vault in 2023, bringing with me more than 20 years of payroll expertise. I believe payroll should never be stressful for anyone. I love digging into the details, building trusting relationships with clients, and the satisfaction of balancing every number perfectly the first time.
Off the clock, I’m all about family, sunshine, and creativity. You can often find me chasing after my grandkids, relaxing at the beach, getting lost in a good book, or crafting diamond art masterpieces one tiny sparkly dot at a time. If it brings joy, light, or a little bit of sparkle, I’m all in.
